What we are Looking for

We are looking for a Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets through L&M’s Core Values and competitive advantage. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and presenting those plans to the management team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Meet the goals and objectives of the Strategic Planning process as agreed to and/or adjusted by management.
  • Set the standards for performance and hold the sales team accountable to those standards.
  • Responsible for the selection, training, mentoring, and motivating the sales team.
  • Sets the compensation system for the sales team.
  • Establishes effective working relationships with other departments, and involvement in pricing products.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Attain the customer satisfaction measurement.
  • Meet the sales goals.
  • Motivate sales team to ensure they are performing effectively.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Effectively communicate with employees and others as required in the daily execution of assigned duties.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Education, Experience, and Attributes

  • 3 – 5 years of Sales experience with supervisory experience.
  • Corrugated experience a plus.
  • Degree in Business or Communications is a plus.
  • Excellent social/communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships to obtain product knowledge.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize for most effective results.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
