L&M Corrugated is seeking a Corrugated Packaging Designer to help develop packaging solutions that meet our customers' needs. In this role, you'll take customer requirements and turn them into functional corrugated packaging designs while working closely with Sales and other teams throughout the organization.

From developing new packaging concepts and reviewing specifications to testing performance and supporting customer needs, you'll play an important role in creating packaging that works.

What You'll Do
As a Corrugated Packaging Designer, you'll design, test, and support the development of corrugated packaging solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities include:
  • Designing corrugated packaging products based on customer and product requirements
  • Reviewing and developing specifications for new and existing customer items
  • Creating layouts and supporting packaging workflows
  • Performing stacking analysis and compression performance evaluations
  • Ordering and receiving cutting dies needed for production
  • Reviewing designs and specifications for accuracy and manufacturability
  • Collaborating with Sales and other internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs
  • Supporting customer and sales conversations when technical design expertise is needed
  • Helping troubleshoot packaging or design-related challenges
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and design information
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Performing other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
  • Experience with corrugated packaging design and products; at least six months preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college or technical education is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand product specifications and translate customer needs into practical packaging solutions
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Production, and other teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-focused mindset and willingness to help solve problems
