- Lead & Develop: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a geographically dispersed sales team. Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Set the Vision: Define sales goals and strategies by forecasting and establishing annual sales targets. Drive alignment with broader company objectives.
- Drive Performance: Monitor team KPIs and hold individuals accountable for achieving sales quotas, maximizing product mix, and maintaining profitability.
- Stay Ahead: Keep a pulse on market trends, supply and demand shifts, competitor activities, and economic conditions to inform sales strategy.
- Communicate Clearly: Foster strong communication within your team and across departments to ensure seamless execution of business priorities.
- 3–5 years of successful people management experience with a proven ability to develop and grow individual contributors.
- Prior experience in sales is required; industry experience in corrugated packaging is a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the discipline to prioritize and execute effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- A motivational leadership style that encourages performance, growth, and collaboration.
- Willingness to travel regularly between L&M locations and customer sites across the region.
